Everyone is invited to come and meet, and enjoy being with, our animals. The woods, meadows, pitch 'n' putt/practice golf course and a 'big' play system are all here to be enjoyed as well.

Everyone is welcome, come one and all, to help with feeding the animals and collecting the eggs. There are lots of free range chickens and ducks and you can see how many eggs you can find. And you can also help to feed the cuddly rabbits and some 'squeaky' guinea pigs. Most of the time we try to have some cute lambs that can be bottle fed.

There are some very friendly goats, of all ages, who are real individual characters and who will enjoy meeting you. You can also try your hand at milking our goats.

At the edge of the woods, near to the lodges, there is a really fun play system which the children will certainly enjoy. It's close enough that you can let them give you 'some time out' when you want to. It has two towers, two slides including a spiral one, monkey bars, plenty of things to swing on and lots to climb up.

Everyone will also love and enjoy the freedom to explore nearly 30 acres of ancient woodland. Children can play and run around in the natural meadow in front of the lodges. In addition you can play on the pitch 'n' putt/practice golf course, clubs and balls can be provided (open April to end September).

Lots of our doggy friends come back, with their owners, year after year. They enjoy walking on lead through the woods and the meadow or just relaxing on the patio. There are also lots of other interesting walks nearby. Your well behaved dogs are welcome to come on holiday to Cutkive Wood. We know that owners will understand that they have to provide a basket or blanket and feeding and drinking bowls for their dogs and not let them on the furniture. To allow for courtesy and consideration to all our guests dogs must not be left unattended or allowed to roam free. There is a maximum of two dogs allowed per lodge (additional dogs may be allowed by special arrangement).
