We’ll provide lots and lots of ideas; you just choose what you want to do and when.

You will find that you will be ideally situated for enjoying the many attractions in Cornwall and neighbouring Devon.

There is so much to see and do, whatever the weather, that we honestly can’t mention it all. But here are just some of the things you can do while you are on holiday at Cutkive Wood:

Beaches and coast:

There are lots of memorable beaches and coves to be enjoyed and if you still have time then don’t miss the sea fishing town of Looe, Fowey, Mevagissey and the old fishing village of Polperro. On the north coast lies mystical Tintagel, 'Doc Martin's' Port Isaac, Boscastle, the harbour towns of  Padstow and Newquay and picturesque St Ives. Then, of course, there is still Land's End and St Michaels Mount.

Attractions:

Crealy Adventure Park, Dairyland, Morwellham Quay, the National Marine Aquarium, Porfell Wildlife Park, the Monkey Sanctuary, Flambards, The Camel Trail, Carnglaze Slate Caverns, Newquay Zoo, Jamaica Inn on Bodmin Moor, the Museum of Smuggling, canoeing down the Tamar, National Maritime Museum, Blue Reef Aquarium,  Bodmin Jail (reputedly haunted), Tamar Donkey Park. There are many more, not forgetting both the north and south coasts.

Gardens and National Trust Properties:

The wonderful Eden Project is within easy reach as is the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is a host of other wonderful gardens that will inspire you such as Trevarno and The Garden House. Amongst the National Trust properties are enchanting Cotehele and impressive Lanhydrock.

Walking:

The raw natural beauty of both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor are close at hand. There are also plenty of lovely walks along the spectacular coastline and a vast network of lanes and footpaths throughout the countryside.

Sport & Leisure:

There is, without doubt, lots to do. You'll find plenty of places to hire bikes on dedicated cycle trails. At nearby Siblyback Lake there is coarse and fly fishing, windsurfing, canoeing and sailing  and sea fishing can be experienced around the coast, including shark at Looe. Enjoy the indoor pool and leisure complex in nearby Liskeard. Off the coast there are scuba diving opportunities. Horse riding can be enjoyed nearby on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Golfers are almost in paradise with the famous Jack Nicklaus-designed course at St. Mellion Golf Club only a few miles away and lots more within a one hour drive. We have a 3 hole pitch 'n' putt/practice course which you are welcome to use. Outdoor and indoor Bowls are played locally.

And there is lots lots more.
